yeah idk why but people think that taking pictures for ratings the same way they would take a selfie is a good idea.
The point of using angles when taking a selfie is that the angle makes your face look better. It is just a trick to make your face more ambiguous, in order to hide your flaws, which isn't a problem in itself, but if you want to know how attractive your face REALLY is, you can't use tricks.
YOU NEED TO TAKE A PICTURE OF YOUR FACE WITHOUT USING ANGLES. Take a picture of your face straight on, from the front. You should hold the camera about an arms length away from your face to prevent lens distortion (which will generally make your cheeks and jaw appear thinner than what they actually are, which you will probably want to avoid). Preferably a few with a neutral expression and maybe some with you smiling if you want, it really doesn't matter. Just don't kid yourself.
Also, if you want your face rated then just take a pic of your face, no need for anything else, seriously. People seem to have a problem with isolating variables.
Examples of the angle you will want to use (ignore how they look, just focus on how the picture was taken):

Names in order: Aiden Turner (from All My Children), Mariano Di Vaio, Jon-Erik Hexum, Michael Ealy, Brad Pitt, Henry Cavill

I only have one objective: to find what makes someone attractive. I want to share what I have learned with others and maybe learn something in the process. Good luck Looksmaxing!
